Hair extensions continued...

So, you've made the decision to have them done? Now we will need to have

the deposit money so we can order your hair for you. This can be arranged quite quickly (provided payment is by cash or credit card and the hair is in stock) but if you require longer than 20 inches, it can take a few weeks! But this will be made clear in your consultation.

Now your day is booked, all you need to do is turn up with clean, dry hair

(and no products - not even conditioner after you washed it!). We are now

 ready for your transformation!

There are, of course, many different ways of using extensions. You may

want just your fringe extended. Or you may be looking for a special look for a party, something to stand out in a crowd, yet not damage your hair. The party fibre comes in a range of very bright colours including some ‘my little pony’ lilac and turquoise, which has been very popular. There are also some pink, blue and green tinsel fibre for the brave.

You can also have hi-lights or low-lights added to already long hair. If

your hair is healthy and you don't want to ruin the condition by having

the chemicals, this is the perfect answer for trying new colour without

any damage.

If you are having a full head done for the first time, we would like to

warn you about the stage we affectionately call ‘the witchiepoo stage’! It

comes after most of the work has been done, just before the end, at which

point you are probably expecting to see the result of all that sitting

down!

We want you to be prepared for this and not to panic, it is expected. The

reason for it is during the last few hours, we have been sectioning and

man-handling your new hair, pinning it up and pulling it down. And, don't

forget, there are no products on your hair and being freshly washed it is

still pliable. Also, it hasn't been cut yet, so it's all different

lengths!

Basically it is not at its most controllable, so before you start thinking

“what have I done?” all it takes is a quick blow dry, then a trim up (we

have to cut it dry for all sorts of reasons) and a final styling with the

dryer, to get you all sleek and gorgeous!
